Long line issues

The longer the line between the router and the exchange - the weaker the broadband signal.

The weaker the signal, the lower the broadband speed and the more likley there will be interference on the phone line.

Most broadband providers would say that about 8Km is the longest line you can receive decent broadband on.  Decent means around 512K or higher download.

At this range you may experience a whole series of quality control issues.

I have listed a few issues here so that you may be aware of them.
